We believe that on-going staff training offers two main benefits. It is part of our commitment to the health, safety and well-being of our staff as well as assisting their personal development; it also helps us to offer a better quality of service to the client, ensuring that everybody working on their project operates to the highest professional standards.
Staff training undertaken thus far includes:

• Fork lift truck driver training.
• First aid certification by St. John's Ambulance.
• Portable Appliance Testing training by MANWEB.
• Environmental awareness issues with Groundwork Wren Centre.
• General safety courses with Groundwork Wren Centre.
• Welder training to BS 4872 by The Laird Foundation.
• NVQ level 3 in The Production of Glass Supporting Fabrications.

Currently, NVQ training is carried out in conjunction with SCIENTIAM; the Glass Qualifications Authority and Glass Training Ltd. Sheffield.

We are an approved centre to offer Glass Qualifications Authority qualifications, and we participate in the Government's New Deal initiative.
